R7S

I need a replacement bulb for a fitting which says "R7s" and would like to know if an R7 bulb would fit just the same. Thanks both for your help!

I tend to agree with Jay in that there is little or no difference. I looked in my shop at a few that on the shelf and most are labeled R7s. A few old high wattage ones are labeled R7. I held them side by side and could discern absolutely no difference. Maybe a design improvement in the quartz tube or the porcelain ends...?

I am looking to buy a good set of irons but I am torn between Ping G5Ls and TaylorMade r7s. Does anyone use either? I have tested the Ping G5Ls and liked them. I can't seem to find any store around here that has a set of Ladies r7s that I can try out.

You need to hit them all and have someone fit you. The one you can't live without is the one you should buy. Go to demo days and try them all

I am getting back into golf after a 4 year break. Used to shoot in low 90s on moderate level courses. I noticed some good prices and reviews on these two sets. Which one would people recommend (in general)? Or are there other recommendations in this price range for a new set of irons ($400 ish, the pings were used twice and owner wants to unload at that price). Thanks in advance!!

I prefer the r7 irons, I've been playing them for 2 years now and don't see myself buying a new set anytime soon. But, you should go to a golf store and hit them both to see which you like better.

I presently hit Taylor R7s tp with S300 shafts. We tried out the AP2s and the CBs. Jim really worked with the lie on both the demos that I hit.
